What to Expect in our Downtown Seattle Office
Since chiropractic care involves a series of visits, with each one building on the ones before, it’s important that our relationship can go the distance. We’ve found that one of the best ways to have successful patient relationships is to explain everything in advance. No surprises!
The more you understand who we are, what we do and why we do it, the better results you’ll enjoy. It’s as simple as that.
Your First Visit
Upon entering Align Chiropractic, you will be greeted by our friendly front desk staff and then given some paperwork to fill out. The paperwork is our way of gathering all the necessary information about you including: the reason for seeking chiropractic care, your health history, your health habits, type of insurance (if any), etc... At this time we will also make a copy of your insurance card (if you have coverage), and contact your provider for you to find out the extent of your benefits.
Once you've completed the paperwork you will sit down with Dr. Favreau for your initial consultation so he can find out exactly what brought you in to see us and begin the process of maximizing your health. Immediately following the consultation you will have a spinal, postural and neurological examination followed by x-rays, if necessary. Once you have completed all of these steps Dr. Favreau will answer any questions that you have and then you will make another appointment to review your report of findings so the doctor can study your case to determine if we can help you.
Your Second Visit to Our Downtown Seattle Practice
Upon entering Align Chiropractic for your second visit you will be greeted by the front desk staff and then you will sit down with Dr. Favreau to review the findings from the initial examination, including your x-rays if they were taken.
After reviewing the findings from the initial visit Dr. Favreau will provide you with his initial recommendations for getting you feeling better and moving towards optimal health. Dr. Favreau will also answer any questions that you have and then you can immediately begin receiving treatment.
After your adjustment and other additional therapy that may be appropriate you will be escorted to the front desk to schedule your next appointment before departing.
Regular Visits
After you've learned all about your spine, posture and nervous system in the first two visits you will begin the process of achieving optimal health. When you arrive at the office you will check in at the front desk so the staff can greet you and inform Dr. Favreau of your arrival. Shortly you will be guided to the adjusting area where Dr. Favreau will provide you with precise instructions on where to begin having the stress removed from your nervous system.
The whole process of being adjusted and any additional treatment will take approximately 30 minutes so plan accordingly so that you can relax and absorb all of the healing energy that the recommended therapy will provide.
